Game On! has a separate policy from the Glencoe Park District regarding cancellations and transfers.
Switching Weeks
Camp families are able to switch their weeks contingent on availability until 7 business days before the camp starts.
Cancellation Policy
Prior to May 1, 2026, Game On!’s cancellation policy follows Glencoe Park District Camp Cancellation policy fees and terms
- Glencoe Policy: Refunds will be issued, per submitted request, per camper, per camp as long as requested 7 business days before the camp start date, less a cancellation fee that’s 20% of the total cost of camp (not to exceed $200). Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via the cancellation form online. Refunds cannot be issued as credits to your account. Complete details here.
After May 1, 2026, any cancellation requests will not receive a refund.
Note that Game On! families are not entitled to a refund or make-up days for camp days or weeks missed due to sickness, injury, vacation, behavioral issues, schedule conflicts or other similar reasons. Refunds due to serious medical conditions or other exceptional circumstances will be at the sole discretion of Game On! owners.
There are no refunds for camp days cancelled due to extreme weather conditions, facility power outages, or other such circumstances that render our Game On! camp sites unsafe or unusable OR if driving conditions prevent a significant number of camp staff from making the commute. These decisions are within the discretion of camp owners and directors.
