Discover the dynamics of a typical Game On! day, where a blend of learning and fun play involving 4-6 sports, team-building activities, camp traditions, and empowering lessons embracing GirlStrong life skills and values fill our hours together.

MORNINGS

  • Rotations engage campers in team-structured sessions focusing on 3 “core” sports. We refer to them as “core” because we take the time to teach and explore age-appropriate skills, rules and strategies, always accounting for skill levels and experience. While core sports vary by location, they typically include basketball, volleyball, soccer, softball, lacrosse, field hockey, flag football, dance, martial arts, pickleball, & tennis. Week to week, your daughter’s morning core sports will vary.
  • Note: While not every sport may be a core focus in a single week, our afternoon sessions ensure exposure to most of the other core sports throughout the camp week.
  • Core sport rotations from Monday through Thursday involve a progression that prepares campers for the ultimate fun and excitement: Game Day Friday, giving our Game On! Girls the opportunity to really play either as a full-fledged game or as close as possible with game-like challenges.

AFTERNOONS

  • Creative and meaningful projects aligning with our Game On! Pledge which promotes strength in BODY, MIND, and TEAM. Activities range from Healthier 4 Me programming to team spirit competitions, motivational guest speakers, or our giving projects that support local foundations.
  • Menu of options that may involve additional sports play (non-core sports for that week), all-camp games, themed events, minute-to-win-its and camp traditions
  • All days end with a sweet treat – a popsicle for each camper – and a heart-stopping, ear-piercing rendition of the Game On! Song! By summer’s end, you might just learn this catchy tune from your daughter; it’s a true camp anthem!
