What: The opportunity for part time work at Game On! Sports Camp 4 Girls that revolves around a regular training schedule
Where: Any and all Game On! Sports Camps 4 Girls located in Chicago and the North Suburbs
When: Summer camp season (June – August)
Why: Game On! Sports 4 Girls understands first hand the rigors of summer training when committed to a sport or two as a high school or college athlete. We also know that there are athletes out there who would relish the opportunity to help excite girls about sports and fitness in general while helping to boost their confidence, including teaching all the life lessons and instilling the values that involvement in sports offers. Yet their schedules don’t permit full time employment. Hence our Athlete in Training Program, a win-win for both – these older athletes and our campers.
How the program works: Our Athletes in Training complete the official “Join Our Team” application and undergo the same interview process. On the application they will indicate that they are applying for this specialized program. If offered a position, the Athlete and Game On! team will then agree upon a regular schedule.
Payment for Athletes in Training: Based on experience and responsibilities, the pay will range from $16 – $18 per hour
