Evanston

Since 2007, we have dedicated ourselves to working specifically with girls grades Pre K – 8th  to encourage a lifelong commitment to a healthy lifestyle that includes sports and fitness. Through our unique summer camps and school-year events and programs, we have effectively empowered girls through sports by building their confidence and teaching each one skills and values crucial to their growth as an athlete AND a person. We have worked hard, observing and listening to feedback every step of the way, to become the experts in the areas of communication and teaching methodology. The result is customized, fun programming that includes our signature incentive programs. We are so proud of our impact – exciting girls about staying fit and active on top of imparting core values and life skills that go beyond the playing field. This is our passion and our mission.

Hello! My name is Caroline Schwartz and I am the Head Coach of the Lane Tech Flag Football Team. In our second season we won the City Championship and the State Championship with over 100 teams in Illinois. I also teach Computer Science at Lane Tech.

I love football and I love Chicago. I grew up in the suburbs and have been a Bears fan my whole life. I did not have opportunities to play organized football until college, at the University of Illinois, where I played co-ed intramural flag football any chance I could get.

After college I moved to Texas and taught middle school science in Houston. I was the assistant tackle football coach for two years and then the head tackle football coach for the 7th/8th grade team. I moved back to Chicago in 2013 and started teaching High School at a charter school near Humboldt Park. There, I was the assistant Varsity Football coach, focusing on the receivers and backs, the Head Varsity Girls Basketball coach, and the Assistant Varsity Girls Soccer coach.

I currently live in Chicago and continue to play flag football in an all women’s league, our team is Game of Zones!
