Game On! is proud to partner with the Hallie225 Foundation, named in memory of Hallie Grossman, a cherished friend and inspiring young woman who passed away at age 25 after bravely fighting a rare form of cancer for 10 months. Hallie (second from left in both photos), was a beloved camper from Game On’s first year in 2007, embodied strength, kindness, and resilience. She loved and played many sports, including badminton and golf, which showcased her vibrant personality and passion for teamwork.
We are also thrilled to announce our partnership with The Hallie225 Foundation, a non-profit charity dedicated to raising funds for rare cancer research and supporting causes that were deeply important to Hallie. Hallie225 honors her legacy by fostering a more inclusive, compassionate, joyful, and happy world—what we call living by ‘The Hallie Way.
Hallie’s spirit lives on at Game On! in a couple ways:
- Hallie GirlStrong ribbon: honors Hallie’s memory and celebrates the qualities she stood for: exceptional character, perseverance, and a positive spirit.
- Hallie Strong Camper of the Week: honors campers who have gone above and beyond, earning praise for their leadership, heart, effort, sportswomanship, and all around GirlStrong attitude – all attributes Hallie shared! COWs are also awarded a gift certificate from Epic Burger, thanks to Hallie’s family.
