Maria comes to Game On! with extensive experience in marketing, communications, social media, and program development, most recently in the healthcare sector. Originally hailing from Chicago, she relocated to Boulder with her husband and two children in 2013 for the fresh air, sunshine, and mountains of Colorado.

From a young age, Maria’s parents encouraged her and her two older sisters to always be engaged in sports to develop confidence, stay active, and learn how to function as a part of a team. Today, she strives to pass on those important principles to her five nieces and her own daughter. And really, any girl that she meets!

Maria stays active through regular workouts, coaching, hiking, skiing, and keeping up with her kids and dog. She also loves gardening, cooking, working to bring their 1980’s home into the current century, and spending quality time with family and friends.
